The greatest , the GOAT , the magic man people call him by many names but he is just a normal human being like ourselves he is Lionel Messi . He is an Argentinian Footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and captains the Argentina national team
Recently, Lionel Messi brought his inability to score in the knockout phase of the World Cup to a crashing halt on the grand occasion of his 1000th career appearance.

Messi has won a record seven Ballon d’Or awards, a record six European Golden Shoes, and in 2020 was named to the Ballon d’Or Team. Until leaving the club in 2021, he had spent his entire professional career with Barcelona, where he won a club-record 35 trophies, including 10 La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey titles and four UEFA Champions League. But the GOAT has not won the thing he wants the most, The World Cup trophy .



The clash on the Quarterfinal



The Argentina team faces Netherland in the quarterfinals after beating the Aussies in the round of 16. The Second quarter final of FIFA 2022, WHAT A GAME!! The game starts at 10 pm (local time) at Lusail stadium in the first half  with Messi’s incredible assist Nahuel Molina scores then in the second half Messi scores another goal with a penalty shootout . But when everyone thought that the Argentinian team is going to the semi’s Netherland scores . Then in the 90+10(additional) minute there’s a free kick where Netherland scores with a Jaw dropping moment. And then the game goes to Extra time where there are more fouls than playing with football .No one scores in the Extra time, the stadium is filled with tension when the Tiebreaker starts . The Netherland team starts the penalty shootout where Emiliano Martínez (GK of Argentina team) becomes the savior and takes the Argentina team to the semi-finals .

Diego Maradona once declared that Messi was his "successor." Since Messi started playing he had a goal to score which he couldn't which is taking the World cup trophy . Messi is 35 year old which makes this world cup his last one, one last chance to fulfil his long waited dream the dream which he shares with millions of fans .

After defeating Netherland in quarterfinal Argentina will face Croatia in Semi where Argentina has low record of winning. The game will depend on the shoulder of Lionel Messi .Will he score? or will he miss to score and miss the world cup again ?
