Do you ever feel “I’m not worth of living” or you're having trouble to do your daily activities. Not having interest at anything?
I think everyone often go through this. This is called depression. But this word is something that English languages fail to convey the words exact meaning. Depression does not mean ”upset”.
In defination, Depression is mood disorder that causes of persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest but sometimes it’s hard to describe those feelings with words.
We experienced many various types of pains and affiliations along the path but they eventually go away. But for some who experienced depression, the unhappiness is so ingrained in their personalities that it takes ongoing effort for them to pull themselves out.
A human being can survive almost anything as long as they sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious and it compounds daily that its impossible to ever see the end-Elizabeth Wurtzel
WHAT DEPRESSION LOOK LIKE:
One of the most frequent misconceptions regarding depression is that it's the same as feeling depressed or gloomy. Despite the fact that melancholy is experienced by many persons with depression, it is far more intense than feelings that come and go in reaction to events in life.
Depression can be felt in different ways or In different states.
It may feel like-
• There is no pleasure or joy in life• Concentration or focus becomes harder: Making decisions, reading, or watching something
• Everything feels hopeless: Depression may make people feel that there is no way to feel good or happy again.• Self-esteem is often absent: People with depression may feel like they are worthless or a failure at everything.
• Sleeping may be difficult: Falling asleep at night or staying asleep all night can feel nearly impossible for some with depression
THE CAUSES OF DEPRESSION:

Still others have a history of depression in their families. If so, they could experience depression and others don’t.

Although chemical imbalances in the brain heredity, environmental influences in personal life etc. are responsible, no one has been able to give a sure remedy for it yet. For the summer it is like fighting with their own shadow everyday.

- Self-help: Regular exercise, getting enough sleep, and spending time with people you care about can improve depression symptoms.
- Counseling: Counseling or psychotherapy is talking with a mental health professional. Your counselor helps you address your problems and develop coping skills.
- Alternative medicine: People with mild depression or ongoing symptoms can improve their well-being with complementary therapy. Therapy may include massage, acupuncture, hypnosis
and biofeedback.
- Medication: Prescription medicine called antidepressants can help change brain chemistry that causes depression. Antidepressants can take a few weeks to have an effect.
- Brain stimulation therapy: Brain stimulation therapy can help people who have severe depression or depression with psychosis. Types of brain stimulation therapy include electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and vagus nerve stimulation (VNS).

When everything seems impossible, a person is depressed. when you are so depressed that previously enjoyable activities no longer bring you the same delight. You ponder how you have ever found anything enjoyable.
Every day, you make yourself miserable. You have trouble falling asleep at night because your low point seems to take over. overpowering you in a way that you never could have anticipated.
for anyone who are trying to get up from this, you need to allow yourself the time needed to get through this. it does take time but eventually, you'll get up. I will hope for you untill you find that hope again for yourself
